Almond & Mozz Stuffed Shrooms
FOOTBALL IS BACK! So this month our recipes are going to focus on Gameday Snacks. This week's recipe: Almond and Mozz Stuffed Shrooms. We know what you are thinking... "that's too fancy!" Trust us, you set these out and they will disappear fast. The almonds give the mushrooms a crunchy texture and they are packed with flavor. You can also serve these as a side for dinner time, or scale it up to main by using full size portabellas.

What You Need
1 lb of Baby Bella or White Button Shrooms
1 cup Mozzarella, shredded
1/2 cup Shaved Almonds
1 tsp Water
1/2 tsp Star Child
1 tsp Seven Sisters
1 Tbls Chopped Parsley (you will use this in both your mix and as garnish)
What To Do
Pre-heat the oven to 400F.
In a bowl mix the cheese, almonds, 1 tablespoon of parsley, 1 teaspoon of water, 1 teaspoon of Seven Sisters, and a 1/2 teaspoon Star Child.
Remove the stems from the mushrooms. You may need to use your thumb or a small spoon to remove any "stumps" left in the caps.
Spoon the cheese mix into the mushrooms and roast for 20 minutes.
Place onto serving plate and garnish with more parsley.
Try these drizzled with warm BBQ sauce or your favorite hot sauce for an added touch!
Enjoy!
