Sandcastle Hummus

Once you make your hummus at home, you will never go back! This super easy recipe makes about a quart of hummus for all your dip and spread needs and it will stay good in the fridge for at least a week!

What You Need

  • 1/2 cup Tahini⁠

  • 1 Tbls olive oil⁠

  • 2 garlic cloves⁠ (roasted, fresh or minced - follow your heart!)

  • 2 cans of chickpeas, drained⁠

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice⁠

  • About 1/2 cup water⁠

  • 1 Tbls apple cider vinegar⁠

  • 1/2 tsp Star Child

  • Garnish with fresh herbs, toasted nuts or seeds, olive oil or Gabagool

What To Do

  • Use a blender to puree the tahini, garlic, lemon, vinegar, and spices.

  • Add the chickpeas and blend.

  • Add water as needed to loosen the hummus until the texture is smooth.

  • Add additional spice or salt to taste!

  • Spoon into a serving bowl and garnish with olive oil and Gabagool. For a special touch try some minced herbs on top!
