Whipped Herb Butter

Somersault, Mountain Joy

Sauce, Quick & Easy, Gluten Free

What You Need

  • 2 sticks of Unsalted Butter⁠

  • 2 Tbls Mountain Joy (or Tuscan Blend⁠)

  • 1/2 tsp Somersault⁠

  • Mixer with whisk attachment, or a food processor⁠

What To Do

  • Melt the butter in a small sauce pan and add your Mountain Joy and Somersault.

  • Simmer and stir on low for about 5 minutes. ⁠

  • Pour the mixture onto a sheet pan or pyrex baking dish and cool in the fridge.⁠

  • Once solid, scrape the butter into the mixer bowl and whisk on medium until the butter lightens in color.⁠ Scrape down the sides and repeat.⁠

  • When all the butter is consistent, turn the mixer to high until the butter is almost white.⁠

  • Store in a sealed container in the fridge; the butter should be good for about 2 or 3 weeks.⁠

  • Spread on warm bread, sauté veggies, brush on grilled shrimp, the possibilities are endless!
